Hung out to dry

100 feet of nylon line- $4.99 (as opposed to $15 buying it by the foot at $0.15 per foot)
2 garage door pulleys- $6.98 (as opposed to buying "real" pulleys at $14.99 each)
Wooden clothespins--free! (It is always good to ask if anyone has extra they'd like to get rid of)
Learning to tie a Zeppelin knot-priceless! (we love the internet!)
The second load of laundry is hanging out to dry. It really is quite easy to do--unless you have 2 kids "helping"...

I still need to get my rope up. Haven't had a chance when the strong one was home. And it wasn't raining. Hopefully this weekend!! I've been saving up the laundry. Though I can say it probably won't be a whole lot of fun to lug my laundry up the stairs to hang it outside. But I am going to give it a try. A good old college try.

My neighbor decided to burn sticks and leaves today--so the second load smells nice and campfire smokey!

I've been using the kids' wagon to lug all the laundry in and out. Stairs would be ucky...

I've been wanting to set up a line ever since we moved in here! I could dry outside almost all year long. Ah and it smells sooo good.
